Moho Caye, also known as Wild Orchid Caye, is an 8.38-acre tropical island located in the Caribbean Sea, approximately 12 miles east of Placencia. Situated just 9 miles from the Belize Barrier Reef, the caye features nearly 3,000 feet of shoreline, offering visitors a beautiful setting to experience the clear waters and natural beauty of Southern Belize.

Your tour includes pickup and drop-off at the Placencia Municipal Pier, park and government fees, food and drinks, snorkeling gear, and boat transportation to and from Moho Caye.
Yes. Moho Caye offers a relaxed island setting with swimming, snorkeling, beach time, shade beneath the palms, and other activities that make it an enjoyable destination for both adults and children.
Come prepared for a day in the sun and water. We recommend bringing a swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a camera or waterproof phone case for capturing the day. Similar Placencia snorkeling excursions also recommend a cover-up or rash guard and reusable water bottle.
There’s plenty to enjoy even when you're out of the water. Relax on the beach or in a hammock, enjoy the shade of the coconut palms, swim in the clear Caribbean waters, play beach volleyball, or simply spend some time exploring the island. Kayaks and paddleboards are also available for rent directly at Moho Caye.
