From what to bring to snorkeling and island activities, here are a few helpful things to know before setting off for your Ranguana Caye adventure.
Your tour includes pickup and drop-off at the Placencia Municipal Pier, park and government fees, food and drinks, snorkeling gear, and boat transportation to and from Moho Caye.
There’s plenty to enjoy without ever putting on a snorkel mask. Ranguana Caye offers kayaking, paddleboarding, beach games, hammocks and plenty of space to swim, sunbathe, or simply relax with a drink and enjoy island life.
Come prepared for a day in the sun and water. We recommend bringing a swimsuit, towel, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and a camera or waterproof phone case for capturing the day. Similar Placencia snorkeling excursions also recommend a cover-up or rash guard and reusable water bottle.

Yes. Ranguana Caye welcomes visitors of all ages and offers a nice balance of adventure and relaxation for families. Children can enjoy the beach and island activities while adults can snorkel, paddleboard, kayak, or relax in the shade. As with any island excursion, children should be closely supervised around the water.
